Into Thin Air - EBC Trek 1

Sigh, I always wonder why I did not get the book 'Into Thin Air' in Nepal...kind of regretted it now. Looking back, our Nov journey was indeed one of a kind (shaking my head) - dramatic till the very end. Starting from luggage delay, we had the infamous black out episode in Namche, AMS (acute mountain sickness) syndromes, coughing fits and flu to getting stranded for days on end in Lukla, helicopter scam and the bus roof journey with goats and chicken just to get back on time to Kathmandu. It was traumatizing to a certain degree but we were equally ecstatic to have accomplished the grand mission to see EBC and the breathtaking Everest Range up Mt Kalapattar (5545m). The trek was a bit hardcore but I am glad to have made it this lifetime (despite all the huffing, puffing and bodily discomfort).
